Do not book around a photograph
Water levels and conditions can change. Ask about the actual walking route, current access and what the operator proposes if conditions do not suit the original plan. Swimming or waterfalls should never be treated as guaranteed inclusions. Do not jump into unfamiliar water or follow a route simply because others are doing it.
Compare organised and independent travel
For an excursion, confirm pickup, walking time, guide, meals and the return journey. For independent travel, plan both directions and check parking and the final approach.
